Return on Investment
What is the Potential Return on Investment from Retraining Your Machinery Setup Operators?
The Operating Costs Calculator and the Efficiency Calculator are both available for your calculations.
The Operating Costs Calculator uses the annual costs of your facility (setup time, scrap and rework, tool damage, down time, and machine repair) and the estimated reduction percentage to calculate the projected annual return. An easy-to-use worksheet is provided to help calculate your costs for setup time.
The Efficiency Calculator uses the parameters set by your facility to calculate the increase in weekly production hours, weekly labor value, yearly labor value, and the annual return on investment.
