In-Plant Training for CNC Lathes: 3 Options

Online Course:

Student at Computer If you have fewer than 15 people to train in one or several locations, and you have a variety of brands of machinery, this may be your lowest cost option. While quantity discounts are available, you pay per trainee. Select from Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Okuma controls for each trainee during registration over the web. After mastering the basic concepts, the trainee puts the ideas into practice by interacting with computer simulations of the selected models with realistic screen displays, soft keys, and control panels. One to hundreds of trainees can be accommodated locally or world wide with the course management system.

DVD / CD-ROM Course:

CD-ROM If you have 15 or more to train in a single location and have a variety of brands of machinery, this may be your lowest cost option. Your initial investment in the courseware allows you to train as many as you wish for as long as necessary. The courseware and management system are installed on your computers and can be networked. Select from Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Okuma controls for each trainee during registration. All the content is delivered on DVD based instruction and CD-ROM based testing. After mastering the basic concepts, the trainee puts the ideas into practice by interacting with computer simulations of the selected models with realistic screen displays, soft keys, and control panels.

DVD / Print Course:

DVD If you have one brand of CNC control type and more than 15 people to train, this may be your lowest cost option. It does not include computer simulation of the job tasks or computerized course management. Each course covers either an individual CNC control model or a series of control models which are identical in respect to the operator interface. Instruction is on DVD and testing is performed using the four manuals included with each course. Individual training programs are available for Fanuc, Mazak and Okuma. Trainees complete written tests, then practice and take performance tests on your machinery during normal setup or adjustment periods. The one-time investment enables you to train as many as required in your facility.
