Tool Costs
Carter Weber, Randy Moss: "We have seen a difference. We cut our tool replacement costs from $20,000 a month to $13,000."
Gray Tool, Bob Kerr: "Our tool crib has noticed a difference. They said the tools are not being burned up anymore."
Midland-Ross Corporation, Bill Bowshier: "My tool damage has come down. I relate that to the better experience and the better experience comes from the training materials. There has been a reduction in tool breakage and machine wrecks."
Torin Products, Tom Bernstein: "It greatly accelerates the training. New people take a year. Experienced people take 3 to 6 months to go through. I think it reduced tool damage and gave them a finer appreciation of what they are getting into."
Tektronix Incorporated, Ron Vanderschuere: "We reduced tool breakage by 75%. At least 25% of that, I'd say, was due to the training material."
John Deere, Dave Juon: "We reduced tool breakage by 75%. At least 25% of that, I'd say, was due to the training material."
Simpson Strong Tie, Paul Larson: "We haven't finished training everyone but, I would guess that we have eliminated about half of our die damage."
Parker Hannifin, Walter Petro: "They do it right the first time without the trial and error."
