| Shown in the left column of the Status Area are the course number, lesson number and the number of the current question. The course number appears next to the letter C, while the lesson number is next to the letter L. The number of the current question is displayed by the letter Q, in this example 37. If a student has a problem with a question that they wish to discuss, they can provide the instructor with the course, lesson, and question number shown in this column. The number of C correct answers, I incorrect answers and R remaining number of questions are shown in the column on the right. These numbers can be useful while working on a test. A student can easily see how many questions they have answered by looking at the total of the Correct and Incorrect answers. The questions remaining to be answered during the current attempt at the test are shown in the R position. If this student were to stop this test at this time and return later, the R value would be equal to 9, 7 of which were previously incorrect and the 2 that were remaining at the time the test was stopped. The text of the question is displayed in the Instructions Area of the screen. The narrator also reads this text when a question is first displayed. If the student wishes to hear the audio again, the Repeat Audio button can be pressed. The Review Questions button allows a student to go back through the questions already attempted. Both the correctly and incorrectly answered questions will be displayed. This feature is useful when a student wishes to review a question which they answered incorrectly. If a test is stopped by pressing the EXIT in the Navigation Buttons, the Student Score screen will be displayed showing the current date, time and test results. This data is also recorded in the Students File which the instructor can access. |
