Computers and Operating Systems: Installing the course is easy with the help of the Install CD-ROM and Installation Manual. As a minimum, the course requires a Pentium or compatible CPU with at least 32 mb of RAM, a hard drive with 10 mb available, a 4X CD-ROM drive or better, 16 bit monitor and a 16 bit sound card. The installation can be done on computers running Windows 95, 98 or 2000, as well as NT.
Networking: The course management system can be installed on individual computers or on a networked group of computers. In a network environment, student data files can be stored on a server so that the instructor for the class, or Administrator, can have access from any computer on the network. By entering the password for the class, the instructor can perform all class management functions and review or print any student records.
Licensing: The licensing process for each computer allows for a variety of configurations. The software also allows you to transfer a license when computers are updated or replaced without the need to contact MasterTask.
