Variables that Affect Cost: There are two variables that affect cost. The first is the number of individuals you have signed up for the course at any time. The more trainees you have, the less costly it will be for each one. The other variable is the number of CNC controls you have selected for each trainee. The more CNC controls a person is learning, the more modules of instruction they will receive and, therefore, the more it will cost.

Two Payment Plans: You can select the Annual Subscription or the Unit Plan.

Annual Subscription: You receive the materials at the lower cost by paying in advance for a one-year period. For example, most select the Core and one CNC control type for $696.00 per person.. Students that receive instruction on additional CNC controls will be charged an additional fee as shown below. Call 1-800-624-6968 for group rates.
Core Modules Only = $120.00 per Unit or $520 complete course.

Core + One Control = $160.00 per Unit or $696 complete course.

Core + Two Controls = $180.00 per Unit or $783 complete course.

Core + Three Controls = $200.00 per Unit or $870 complete course.

Unit Plan: You will be billed at $160 for each Unit a person begins. This plan is often used to try portions of the course before purchasing either the online or CD-ROM versions of this course.

How do we compare?: All MasterTask courses are developed using methods originating from research done at Florida State University for the US military called the ISD (Instructions Systems Development) process. It assures you the course meets the performance objectives derived from extensive tasks analysis. That keeps the course from including topics such as the history of CNC or other material irrelevant to the job.

Other courses use an educational approach where a grade of 80% might be considered passing. If there are ten steps to a procedure, it is hard to imagine any two which are not important. MasterTask's 100% solution makes sure all the information is acquired. Most trainees can complete a module within an hour and that success builds confidence which speeds learning. Many courses offer a system in which the amount of time in the course is fixed, which allows trainees to leave with variable levels of competency. In MasterTask systems, what is learned and how well it is learned is fixed. The only variable is time and it becomes the criteria by which a person's effort and capability is judged.

Mastertask includes realistic simulations of the job tasks on the CNC control type selected for the trainee. The interaction keeps it interesting and challenging. Hundreds of case-study reports from around the country attest to the effectiveness and return-on-investment of the award winning MasterTask method and materials.

Will it Pay? One of the most effective and profitable uses of this course is the improvement of existing operators. The success of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and ISO certification will make these courses an important part of management's competitive strategy. You will produce rapid reductions in scrap, rework, tool damage, achieve faster setups, less downtime, and fewer costly crashes. To calculate the potential impact of these savings, use this spreadsheet to calculate your potential return-on-investment.

"I've got 16 people going through your CNC training right now. They love it. I stop by the class once a week and their comment is 'Thank You'." Frank Henderson, MPB, Inc.
