Condition: Flash Around Finish Blow Heads

Flash All Around the Finish Blow Head and on Cone Blow Blank:

1. Shorten Cutoff Blank.

2. If Head is then under filled, shorten Cone Blow Pin or remachine cavity on Cone Blow Punch to upset more material.

Flash on Finish Blow Head but NOT on Cone Blow Blank:

1. Check Head Height of the finish blow.

2. If height is oversize or correct, reduce Cutoff length and install longer Cone Blow Pin.

3. If problem continues, machine a smaller Cone Blow cavity.

4. If flash occurs but Head Height is undersize, back up the Cone Blow punch.
