Operator at Lathe

CNC Turning Centers (Lathes)

MasterTask offers you three choices when it comes to training operators, machinists and machinist-programmers.

Internet-based Course with Job-Task Simulation

This new web-based course covers the common models of CNC Turning Center and Lathe using Fanuc, Haas, Mazak and Okuma controls. The computerized course management system allows the selection of the controls which each individual will be learning. After mastering the basic concepts, the trainee puts the ideas into practice by interacting with computer simulations of the screen displays, soft keys, and control panels of the brands and models of control selected for them. These simulations reduce the chance of costly mistakes on your machinery and lost production time during the learning process. This course is used in shops which have a variety of CNC control models. One to hundreds of trainees can be accommodated locally or world wide. This is the best course for groups of between 1 and 15 trainees or if you have multiple locations.

CD-ROMCD-ROM-based Course with Job-Task Simulation.
This course covers many CNC control types including Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma and, therefore, many brands of machinery. The computerized course management system allows the selection of the controls which each individual will be learning. After learning the basic concepts, the trainee puts the ideas into practice by interacting with computer simulations of the screen displays, soft keys, and control panels of the brands and models of control selected for them. The one-time investment enables you to train as many as required in your facility and is best suited for shops with more than 15 to train or retrain.

VideocassetteVideo-based Courses.
Each course covers either an individual CNC control model, or a series of control models which are identical in respect to the operator interface. These courses are used by shops or departments that have only one type of CNC control. For example, a firm may have a group of lathes by various manufacturers which all use GE Fanuc 0T controls. Individual training programs are available for Fanuc, Mazak and Okuma. Trainees complete written tests, practice and performance tests during their learning process. The one-time investment enables you to train as many as required in your facility.
